Beef Stroganoff
This is the exact one from Grammy (copied off the recipe card she gave
Mom years ago!).
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp pepper
1 1/2 lbs beef cut in cubes or strips
2 tbls butter
2 tbls ketchup
1 cup sliced onions
1 4 oz can button mushrooms
1 cup sour cream
Combine flour, salt and pepper and coat meat with this mixture. Brown meat
in butter and then add all other ingredients other than sour cream. Cover and simmer about 2 hours and stir in sour cream.
Cook only until heated through.
Serve with rice or noodles.
