Four Poems on Julius Caesar I II III IV Caesar You aren’t fooling me I know you’re laughing And you wait For another chance You knew we’d have To wonder And you’re wishing You were back again How would you explain yourself? Would you apologize Or hold your ground I think I know, But what’s your motivation? You half-schooled speaker Of elegant words You standard bearer For ages to come You face the enemy And you laugh At all men And you casually turn A crown In your hand With a gleam In your eye ~Copyright Robin J.
