I am working to update this site, but please be patient; not all of the links will be working just yet. I do have a degree in Classics from the University of Dallas and I gratefully acknowledge how much I appreciate everything the faculty and staff there has done for me. Good Latin Quotations - Click here if you want to see the older, prettier (though harder on the eyes) version. Latin in Rome - The University of Dallas' summer program for high school students. I participated in 1997, when I was in high school. I have worked for the program since 2000 and, hopefully, this summer will be my fifth summer working in Rome. Useful Classics Links - The most useful links I have found have been from Dr. Karl Maurer at the University of Dallas. These are his links.

Catullus Odi et amo. Quare id faciam, fortasse requiris. Nescio, sed fieri sentio et excrucior. I love and I hate. Why do I do this, perhaps you ask. I do not know, but I feel it happen and I am tortured. (#85) |

Vergil Mantua me genuit, Calabri rapuere, tenet nunc Parthenope: cecini pascua, rura, duces. Mantua gave me life, Calabria took it away, now Naples holds me: I sang of pastures, fields, and heroes.(the inscription on Vergil's tomb)
